2013 Domaine Saint Andre de Figuiere Cotes de Provence Magali Signature Rose
Made from 30% Syrah, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% renache and the balance Cinsault, the 2013 Cotes de Provence Magali Signature Rose is an outstanding rose from this producer. Wild strawberry, subtle watermelon and hints of flowers all show here, and this refreshing, clean and classy effort finishes dry and with juicy acidity. It’s rock solid and a superb rose.

Even better and a gorgeous rose that’s made from 50% Mourvedre, 25% Cinsault and 25% Grenache, the 2013 Cotes de Provence Premiere de Figuirere sports a light salmon color to go with notions of rose petal, orange blossom, citrus and salty minerality on the nose. Medium-bodied, layered, elegant and balanced, it’s a knockout rose that will be versatile on the dinner table, yet also drink just fine on a hot summer day. It’s well worth tracking down.
