June 2017: Riesling Without Borders

On the 14th of June it was our privilege to participate in the Riesling Without Borders charity event. Great cause, great wines!

Riesling Without Borders raises money for charities and elevates Riesling’s profile by connecting importers, retailers, restaurants and consumers to these causes through networking, marketing and a robust social media scheme.  Our goal, while raising money for charity, is to expand the audience for Riesling and broaden consumers’ understanding of Riesling’s varied geographies and styles.

Wheeling Forward was started by Alex Elegudin and Yannick Benjamin in 2011 to help recently disabled people that lack a support system and resources to obtain the services they need. As people adapt to life with a long-term disability, Wheeling Forward helps them navigate the health and social service systems on the way to an active life in the community and to meet their short- and long-term goals through a comprehensive set of services including wheelchair giving, the Axis Project, nursing home transition, higher education, adaptive sporting and more.”
