#VinDuJour 2009 Le Clos de Reynon, Chateau Reynon

#vindujourLe Clos de ReynonWith the start of the New Year, we are kicking off our brand new blog series: #VinDuJour, in which we feature terrific little-known old world wines at reasonable prices, most of them sold exclusively by AP Wine Imports in the US.
Today’s #VinDuJour is the 2009 Le Clos de Reynon from Chateau Reynon. All you need to know about this wine is in this review from Wine Spectator: “Plum, blackberry sauce and black cherry coulis notes are seamlessly melded with enticing spice, melted licorice, and bergamot notes in this pure red. Shows lovely focus on the finish, with a creamy edge. Drinkable now.”-James Molesworth.  Need we say more?

This elegant Bordeaux rouge is made with 100% Merlot grapes, and is the perfect pairing for a nice juicy steak, or any other red meat you might fancy. Just the thing to quaff during these frigid winter months!
