#VinDuJour: 2013 Bordeaux Blanc, Château Reynon

#vindujourReynon Blanc BottleWith the start of the New Year, we are kicking off our brand new blog series: #VinDuJour, in which we feature terrific little-known old world wines at reasonable prices, most of them sold exclusively by AP Wine Imports in the US.

The first wine we are featuring for 2016 is the 2013 Bordeaux Blanc from Chateau Reynon. This phenomenal white wine is created by Chateau Reynon, one of the wineries managed by the estate of Domaines Denis Dubourdieu, and is located within the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. It is 100% Sauvignon Blanc and, by the words of Robert Parker, is “a sensational effort from the proprietor Denis Dubourdieu. This easygoing, richly fruity, honeyed white Bordeaux exhibits lots of fig, grapefruit, and melon notes, medium body, surprising depth and terrific purity as well as complexity.” (89-91-Robert Parker; August 2014).

Available for ordering now! For more details on this fantastic Bordeaux wine, check out our website or our page on Sevenfifty!
