Weingut Donatsch

The Donatsch family has operated for over 100 years across five generations. Located in Bündner Herrschaft in Graubünden's northernmost corner, the estate emphasizes quality wines representative of their terroir. Thomas Donatsch pioneered Swiss winemaking innovations, including cultivating Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc in 1975, creating sparkling wine via Champagne method, and experimenting with wooden barrel aging. Son Martin won the Champion du Monde des Producteurs de Pinot Noir in 2010 and 2011. The estate covers 4.5 hectares across plots including Spiger, Selvenen, Frassa, Bovel, and Halde. Certified organic.
