Slow Wine 2017: Diego Conterno 2012 Barolo Ginestra DOCG

The Slow Food Wine Guide, “Slow Food 2017”, has high praise for Diego Conterno’s 2012 Barolo Ginestra DOCG:

ginestra

“Vino Slow”: A wine that, in addition to having excellent organoleptic quality, it manages to combine characteristics of the terroir, history, and the environment. Vino Slow also responds to the policy of a good relationship between quality and price, taking into account when and where the wine was produced.

“Bottiglia Award”: An award assigned to a winemaker whose wines express above-average quality for all of the bottles presented at the tastings.
