Founded in 1953 by Guglielmo Gialdi and now led by his son Feliciano with daughter Raffaella representing the next generation, Gialdi Vini is one of Ticino's most important wine producers. Their centuries-old cellars are carved deep into Monte Generoso, where natural air flows create ideal year-round temperatures for aging Merlot in French oak. The estate includes the prestigious Brivio brand, whose Sassi Grossi Merlot is among Ticino's most acclaimed wines.
