A Cote Chalonnaise estate based at the Chateau de Buxy in the Montagny appellation. Laurent Cognard acquired his first vineyards in 1997 and became a full-time vigneron in 2006. Today he manages 18 hectares across Montagny, Mercurey, and Pouilly-Loche, including 6.4 hectares of Montagny Premier Cru. His whites are aged in distinctive 500-liter casks, a format he believes highlights the minerality of his Chardonnays.
