Château La Tour Carnet
Château La Tour Carnet, in Saint-Laurent-Médoc, is a Fourth Growth of the Haut-Médoc (1855).
The château dates back to the 12th century, with a medieval tower dated 1120 and a moat, and the family of Michel de Montaigne was among its owners. The château's site records the first harvest in 1409. Bernard Magrez bought the estate in 2000 and owns four Grands Crus Classés, including Pape Clément and Fombrauge.
