Château Potensac

Château Potensac is a Médoc estate west of Ordonnac, owned by Jean-Hubert Delon, who also owns Léoville-Las Cases.
Its vineyard lies mainly on limestone-based hillocks topped with clay-gravel rises and a high proportion of gravel, and includes Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc vines planted more than 80 years ago. The first edition of the Féret guide already mentioned the hamlet of Potensac for the typicity and longevity of its wines. La Chapelle de Potensac is the second wine, created with the 2002 vintage.
