Viña Salceda
Viña Salceda is an emblematic Rioja winery that is committed to contemporary wines that reflect the terroir and the rich Rioja essence. A winery with an enormous legacy of more than half a century of history, with tradition as inspiration, yet with an eye on the present.
Founded in 1969 by the Rivas family, the mission of Viña Salceda is to focus exclusively on the production of top-quality red wines.
The winery is situated in Elciego, on the edge of the Ebro River, which enjoys a perfect microclimate for the cultivation of Rioja Alavesa.
In 1998 the Chivite Family, with a long tradition in the world of wine, acquired Viña Salceda with the idea of expanding whilst continuing to make the best wines with a commitment to more modern wines rooted in their place of origin.
