Château Boyd-Cantenac

Château Boyd-Cantenac is a Third Growth of Margaux in the 1855 classification. Jacques Boyd acquired the estate in 1754 and gave it his name.
Louis Guillemet bought it in 1932, and the Guillemet family, now in its fourth generation, still owns it, with Lucien Guillemet and his nephew Olivier Salques running it today.
Organic composts replace chemical fertilisers in the vineyard, the ground is kept under natural cover, and mating disruption has replaced insecticides.
